This is a picture of all of the media students on the BFI trip.
On the BFI trip we learnt the difference between independent movies and mainstream movies. We had a talk from a few representatives of some companies including Independent Cinema, BigTalk Productions/ Pictures and Film4. All of these being based around the independent film industry.
Mainstream film institutions would involve "The Big 6" which would be companies such as:
- 20th Century Fox
- Warner Bros
- Disney
- Universal
- Paramount
- MGM
